Cindy Pawlcyn, Chef and Owner of Napa's beloved
Mustards Grill, opened
Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen in
2003 featuring market-fresh ingredients and home-cooked comfort food, served
in a relaxed and stylish setting. As
with all of Pawlcyn's endeavors, the food is delicious and heartfelt, the service
is unpretentious and warm, and the atmosphere is festive and comfortable.
The menu reflects Cindy and executive chef Pablo Jacinto's
wide ranging culinary experience and passions.
The dishes, inspired by Northern California's farms, orchards and ocean, are
comforting and familiar but with Cindy's cool twists.
Along with the rustic, fun variations of home inspired cooking are delicious,
food-friendly wines, mostly from the Napa Valley but also reflecting Cindy's
global tastes. The cool zinc bar with its warm wood floors, cozy banquettes
and a comfortable sofa or two shakes and stirs classics and hip house cocktails
alike, and is the perfect place to meet after work for
a bar menu of little plates, or after a movie at the nearby Cameo for coffee
and dessert.
Special wine and food events take place each month including
wine and food themes, such as "Real Men Drink White Wine!" and "We've Got Crabs!"; weekly
celebrity winemaker appearances; and Cindy's Supper Club, a special limited-seating, multi-course
prix fixe meal personally prepared by Cindy and/or a guest chef. Call
